Tim Hetherington was the still photo and cinematographer for the documentary/movie Restrepo. A story about a platoon of soldiers in an isolated valley outpost in Afghanistan. He also shot amazing photos in Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan and many places that were dangerous, full of conflict, and a rich environment for the possibility of making and taking moving images. He was killed in 2011 by a mortar explosion while on location in one of those dangerous locations.
