DOCK WORKER

BACK IN THE DAY
I was helping a friend build a dock behind his house for his 45 foot Downeaster Ketch.  We lived a couple of docks away and my 20 foot ProLine center console open fisherman is tied up at the dock next door..we didn't drive anywhere on the island...we went by boat..even from a few docks away....PERMITS...we don't need no stink'in permits..but now i guess we would be in jail as eco terrorists destroying nature...back then, no one was that sensitive.  Once we got the dock completed and the sailboat tied up behind the house, we worked on the boat for months getting it ready for the Clearwater to Key West sailboat race.  That race is another story..
