took these photos at pinetrees...i was sitting on the beach with a friend deciding if we could punch through the shorebreak and make it outside to the main break...we were exchanging excuses for not trying...rotator cuff issues...being 63 years old...9'8 brewer too long to duck dive...no breakfast so hungry, etc...then bethany walked by and jumped in and paddled right out...we looked at each other and waxed up and paddled out behind her..sort of...i never made it out...and my friend jeff never made it past the drift near the shore that took him towards pavillions...both of us lied to the fellas about how we ripped the place that day...but isn't that what old surfers do???
