KILAUEA FALLS..

BEFORE..the mcmansion was built and cut off access to the falls and the part of the Kilauea river below the falls..the monstrosity building complex dominates the river basin all the way to the ocean at kahili beach..amazing that the County approved the mess but I guess property tax revenue is more important than the footprint that money can buy and can't be erased...

MAN CAVE UPDATE 3

 bourbon maple flooring delivered and "climatizing" for 30 days

 upper cabinets installed..lower cabinets, bar sink, wine refrigerator, and kegerator go in after the floor is put down

exterior board and bat painted with primer...sanding all boards and bats now and then two coats of Hanalei green go on to match the rest of the house

MAN CAVE UPDATE 2

still need bourbon maple floors, cabinets, wine refrigerator, kegerator, and barn door on office space to the left of photo...and later a pool table...all wired for surround sound...got 10 movie theatre seats from Lihue theatre (they are replacing with new ones)...so big flat screen also slated for down the road...

MAN CAVE UPDATE

The carport conversion project from open carport to man cave is coming along.  Weather has not cooperated for us for the second phase of construction: 2 car garage with workshop/guesthouse. The foundation of the new building is dug but no cement slab pour until the weather gets better.  Here are some carport before photos...
